Project example: precast-concrete manufacturing

I built a custom MES for a made-to-order precast operation. It represented form preparation, pouring, curing, finishing, and inspection, with ERP data, IoT sensors, and machinery connections.

Custom MES or an extension to the system you already use?

We should compare both. A focused application or connector may solve a problem without replacing the existing ERP or MES. A custom execution layer becomes more useful when production rules and workflows are not represented adequately by the current tools.

Introducing changes during production

Deployment needs to account for shift patterns, work in progress, user training, data migration, and recovery if something fails. A phased rollout can reduce disruption, but the right plan depends on the plant.
