Start with the work people need to do

Tell me who will use the application, what they do today, and where the current process breaks down. Existing spreadsheets, forms, and examples are often more useful than a long feature list.

We identify the first useful release, the information it needs, and the systems it must connect to. If an existing product fits well, configuration or integration may be a better choice than custom development.

A connected rental business

PHP and the surrounding system

PHP is a core strength, but a working application also needs an appropriate database, user interface, hosting, and deployment process. I choose the stack with the project requirements and future maintenance in mind.

If you already have a PHP application, you may need an experienced PHP developer rather than a new build.

What happens after the first release?

We agree on source-code access, deployment, documentation, backups, and support responsibilities. Further work can add features after users have tried the first release and identified what matters most.

Can you estimate the project from an idea?

We can discuss scope and constraints, but a dependable estimate needs enough detail about workflows, integrations, and acceptance criteria. An initial discovery engagement may be appropriate for a complex project.
