An equipment-rental storefront connected to the business behind it.
I built an online rental store and administrative platform for a startup equipment-rental business. The project connected the customer-facing website with the tools staff needed to maintain inventory and run the operation.
Discuss a connected business applicationThe application
The platform included the rental storefront and an administrative portal where staff could add and remove equipment. It connected card processing, accounting, and banking workflows rather than leaving those functions separate from the website.
My role
I built the website and administration platform and continued working with the business as new requirements arose after launch. The engagement included both the customer interface and the integrations behind it.
Client feedback
“The webpage and administrative portal were nothing less than spectacular. The platform was user friendly, easy to learn on the administrative side, and allowed our business to add or delete equipment in minutes. Our administrative portal is seamlessly integrated into our card processing system, accounting platform and banking.”

Where this experience applies
This kind of project connects a public website to administrative work and transaction systems. If you need a new platform, see custom web application development. If the website exists but its systems do not connect reliably, see API and systems integration.
